Checklist to Help You Get Ready for Your First Blab!
To get the best user experience on Blab, here are 5 of our recommendations:
1. Internet connection: This is the MOST important. Without an internet connection, you can’t even get onto the internet ... meaning NO Blab for you! Hard wire your computer instead of using wi-fi to get the best network connection.
2. Browser : Best browser for Blab is Chrome so be sure you use this when using Blab.
3. High Quality Sound and Visual: Blab is a conversation. We want to hear you and see you! A decent microphone and webcam can enhance the audio and video quality.
4. Minimal background: This goes for both background noise and the background we see while you’re on camera. Keep it simple, neutral, and quiet.
5. Copyrights: IMPORTANT! Please avoid having something on camera that shows any copyrighted labels of products or brands. Example would be, avoid a Starbucks or Coca- Cola on camera, or even an item in the backdrop that may have something similar. This is a precaution that we take in our Blab recordings.

- Yes, you will need to have a microphone when you go on Blab. This helps to cut out the audio feedback from your computer. You can use your phone microphone too.
- For better video quality, a webcam that can produce a 1080 pixel would be best. One of the best webcams out there that would not break your bank is Logitech C920 and you can get it online. Can you go without this suggested webcam? Absolutely! This is just our recommendation for those who want to enhance their audio and video quality.
