Everyone wants to be successful, but not everyone can achieve the success that they imagine. The difference of making it across the success line can vary based on the following:

• Are you even passionate about your idea or innovation?
• Do you actually have a plan?
• Are you taking ACTIONS on your plan or do you let them sit in your head or your notebooks?
• Are you willing to take risks?
• Do you have fear of talking "money"?

ZEF: What are some killer keys that can help lead to business success?

SUPER JULIE: Money, Strategy, and Help!

ZEF: In that specific order?

SUPER JULIE: Yes! Money is the most important factor because it gives you a target or goal to achieve. Monitoring your money and having a profit goal allows you to dream and live in the future. Strategy is the knowledge factor, it allows you to figure out what you need to do in order to reach your financial goal. Help is often the most difficult part, but is essential to brainstorm new ideas and allows you to focus more on keys 1 and 2.

ZEF: What does help look like and why is it so important?

SONDRA: Asking for help is very integral in the business development process, especially for entrepreneurs. For me, asking for help came before I even set my initial goals. The most important thing is to be honest with yourself about your strengths and weaknesses and determine when it's time to bring in the guidance of others who have been there before you and have already determined successful strategies.

Whatever your financial goal is for the next year, write it down, then double it. If you don't, then you will be doing exactly what you are now without changing your business process. You must have a dramatic money goal in order to have really dramatic action and even more dramatic results.

Constantly seek inspiration. Surround yourself with people who are achieving similar goals to yours and ask a lot of questions. See what solutions others may have to any challenges that you may face. You won't always agree with the ideas of others but this allows you to determine even further what the appropriate steps and methods are for you. Find an accountability partner! Having someone with an equal level of motivation to bounce ideas off of can help you keep track of your progress and can be the difference between setting goals and accomplishing them.

ZEF'S TIPS:

Brainstorm your strategy! In order to visualize your success, you must be able to see it. You must also take action! Since I am a visual learner, I use mapping tools, such as MindMeister, with my team. It is available on-the-go, which is very helpful since you never know when an idea will pop into you mind.
